2019年12月6日 · Looking for advice/recommendations for improving the ride on my Ford Excursion. Just bought a 2002 Excursion with 120k miles that is lifted/blocked up about 6". Rides like crap – very stiff with a slight bit of instability on highway even when not towing. Sits way too high - hard to get in/out - especially for wife.

2013年9月14日 · Hello, I'm looking to buy a 2003 7.3 Excursion 4x4 Limited. Was wondering what people are seeing for MPG. I have a 2010 F-350 that gets at least 16.5 on the highway for comparison purposes and that I will keep but want to ensure this Excursion gets at least comparable mileage.

2008年12月29日 · The 2000 Excursion came with a 7.3L option, so I dont see the need to strengthen the frame or swap out the front suspention. Would the harness from the F250 not just swap directly across to the Excursion chassis and body? BTW the Excursion I may pick up is $3000, it runs and drives fine but has 530,000kms on it.

2013年9月11日 · Im in the market for a powerstroke excursion. The problem that I find is that I want one thats a manual. If memory serves correctly, Ford never made a manual excursion. I found this guy on CL close to me. Its the V10. I was curious on how difficult it would be to convert to a diesel. 2000 Ford Excursion I dont really mind the work.

2015年4月6日 · In most cases when you chip or tune a diesel it will add 2-4 mpg on the overhead which rarely equals 2-4 mpg on paper. Most likely to get 20+mpg on a full tank it would have to look like this, 2wd Excursion, xlt base model, rear seat out, no passengers, no wind, cruise at 55mph on the interstate with no wind and no stopping.

The excursion is in very good condition. I have all the maintenance records since 2004. The engine is very clean and runs strong.
