Displayport 1.2/1.4 and 10-bit questions : r/Monitors - Reddit
2020年12月11日 · DisplayPort 1.3 added HBR3 mode which is only 50% faster than HBR2 (HBR2 is two times HBR and HBR3 is three times HBR), and DisplayPort 1.4 does not add higher transmission speed, only support for DSC. At 8 bits, a single cable is enough to support 120 Hz, but not 144 Hz. Using two cables fixes that. Are two cables supported by monitors? Yes.

Turning DisplayPort monitor off disables monitor completely
2013年8月11日 · This isn't an NVIDIA-only thing. It's a monitor hardware thing. Displayport, I believe, has a HPD pin ("hot plug detect"). I believe that what happens is that when the monitor turns off, it brings that pin low, which then causes Windows to detect the display as disconnected, and then disables it.
