2009年5月7日 · DIAMOND GOBBY, I hate them. had one and it ruined my tank. constant sand sifting created particles in the water column 24/7 which then lands all over corals and rock which then created diatoms which made the tank look ugly and then I'd always be cleaning off corals. the pic posted here is not a diamond goby.

2012年9月27日 · Well, the diamond watchman goby is a sifter yes, but its one of, if not the only, sifter that doesnt swim around while sifting. witch is why i chose that exact goby even though i also have a pistol shrimp, AND that beeing said, they seem to get interested in each other.

2015年11月28日 · From what I understand, Diamond watchmen gobies feed primarily through sifting the sand. If you have a well established sand bed full of life I think you would be okay, but not a fish for a new system. If you really want one, I would get one from a local fish store that can prove it takes frozen food.

2017年6月15日 · Then they sold you a diamond goby which does best with a refugium. I had a yellow tang in a 55g(my first tank) and it was small, it didn't do very well, it was in a tank half the mandated size it needs. As for the goby, most temp acclimate their fish so I doubt it was the issue. It may have been ill or stressed.

2017年1月30日 · my diamond goby starved to detah sadly in my old 30 long when i first entered salt water. I like yellow watchmans now. cheap and will eat anything, very hardy too. The one i got to replace the diamond just died a couple months ago. It was big wen i got it and i had it 5 years. It started looking sick but i think it just died of old age.

2008年11月26日 · Thats funny so do I!! diamond goby is a lot larger than the blenny so it's not a problem FOR NOW. I was a little worried when I introduced the algae blenny because I do have 1 barnacle blenny who is a tuff guy but they dont bother each other either (although the barnacle fights with my clown all the time - kind of funny because it is 1/2 the size and he picks the fight).
