2021年2月21日 · The online Inspiron 15 5505 Setup and Specifications shows the Dell supported/validated way to charge the battery = Yes, the USB 3.2 Gen 1/Type-C port does support two way power supply between devices. But, it will not charge the battery completely. So the posted configurations above and those 3rd party chargers are not supported by Dell.

2018年1月23日 · The AC adapter works fine on a different Dell Laptop. Tried a different Dell AC adapter (also 45 watt / 19.5v - same as OEM), would not work. Tried a 130 watt 19.5v Dell charger, and it works! The problem, in my opinion, is obviously a firmware / driver / BIOS issue with the Dell laptop. I'm not impressed.
