2012年1月5日 · A 180 gr .308 cal bullet copper bullet has the same Sectional Density as a 180 gr .308 lead core bullet. The dfferense is in the density of the material (specific gravity). If both bullets have about the same form factor, the copper bullet will be a little longer and have a slightly lower BC because being longer, it will induce more drag.

2011年8月7日 · My stock 7 mag twist rate is 9.25. My current custom 7 mag is 8.5. I was thinking of building a LRM with a twist of 8.75. I was hoping to shoot 180 berger hybrids and a copper bullet. I would like to shoot to a 1,000 yards for practice and 600 yards on deer or elk. I am currently comfortable shooting deer to 300 yards with copper or lead bullets.

2020年11月11日 · For the reasons above, a well-designed copper bullet is simply better than a lead bullet for on-game results. The key being "well-designed" though. All-copper bullet design has advanced significantly over the first designs from many years ago. For example, search "Hammer" bullets and read the field reports.

2014年3月30日 · Can't go wrong with that rig! I have a friend who uses nothing but Vortex 168TTSX ammo in his Browning BAR 30-06. Another guy uses the same ammo but in 150TTSX.
