2021年6月18日 · The way the connecting flaps/straps attach the tent to the car can leave a small gap between the flaps and the car. The body shape of the Compass makes them pretty prominent. I solved it by putting a couple of shop towels in the gaps. Depending on the shape of the car, this might not be an issue.

Maybe a 6-man... My wife and I bring cots for our bags; we like having extra room but also like having a space that will stay warm.

We just got back into car camping after 20 years and bought a Core 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent 14' x 9' for about $275. Absolutely love the tent. Plenty of room for 4 people with cots (2 cots end to end along each long wall) with a nice “hallway” between the sets of cots.

2023年11月29日 · Hear me out. North Face Wawona 6P tent is the best 6 person tent out there. Although it doesnt have a full rain fly it had kept me dry during 3 day trip where it rained the entire time. It has also kept me dry during torrential thunderstorms with sideways rain. It also has the largest vestibule I have seen, which I really like.

2021年8月31日 · Its close to the coast so it's hard to find a spot, guess I gotta walk a lil further into the map to find a good spot. Cuz here everyone's running through the woods to the Airfield or closest Town, I even have 2 barrels to move too, found those barrels and Car Tent too early tbh

2022年11月14日 · A car is basically a giant radiator, and will disspate heat nearly as fast as a bad tent, while holding every bit of condensation and moisture inside. Look into heated clothing meant for winter motorcycle riding, or insulated clothing for hunters.

Hey everyone ! I am in search for a car camping tent for 2 people. We are looking for something under 200, can fit a full sized air mattress, and something that is decently durable. I was thinking 4 person would be good and that a 6 person would be too large. But maybe a bigger 3 person would fit the full sized air mattress comfortably.
