I have shot 1400 pictures in less than two months. I have printed only 50 or so. Most of my shooting has been geared . to learning photography and its techniques. I would also think radiation would be lighter at night, since solar wind is at a minimum. On the other hand, when you take a 30 sec exposure, you keep your CMOS sensor active for quite a long time.
