Sep 7, 2024 · Now that I've upgraded to the new box and Windows 11, my Bose Soundlink Mini 2 'IS" is recognized as an "Other Device" and cannot be used as an Audio device. I have exhausted all the forums, Bose support, and even "help.microsoft.com" to no avail. I have performed all the Bose recommendations (i.e., zero out connections, etc.).

Note that using the Setting: "+Add Bluetooth and other devices" to connect did result in a connection under “Other devices” but not under “Audio”: The Bose Mini II SE Soundlink speaker did not show up on the Audio Device List. All I would get was this:

Oct 20, 2018 · I am currently using windows 10 on a surface pro tablet. I have my Bose soundlink 2 connected via Bluetooth. It will play sound effects through the Soundlink 2, but will not play music from iTunes through the Soundlink 2. Only through the tablet's speakers. I've adjusted settings to take off sound equalizers and such. Turned on the speaker and off.

Nov 14, 2018 · Two Bose Micro SoundLink speakers paired and connected in "Bluetooth Devices". Both set to disvover the PC. Both show "Connected voice, music." Any way to play these speakers simultaneouly? No such option appears on the settings page "Bluetooth and other devices". And no such option in Devices and Printers in the Control Panel.

Feb 2, 2014 · Original title: Bose Soundlink Mini. I have the same problem as a couple of other people and have not found any solution given that has worked for them or me. The soundlink mini connects fine and after bit of time playing music (10 minutes to one hour) the connection starts breaking up, so it sounds choppy.
