If you’re full time and you work on those holidays you’ll still get the time and a half. What’s changing is you now have the option to use the 8 hours that they automatically give us on that day ( so for Labor Day you’d get the time and a half PLUS the 8 hours-this is how it’s always been).

2024年2月12日 · Floating Holiday is basically PTO but you get that instead of the extra Holiday pay so you can use it like PTO you should get an initial 24-32 but every Holiday excluding Christmas and Thanksgiving you will accumulate 8hrs of Floating Holiday. Christmas and Thanksgiving are still paid Holiday as we are closed those days.

If you wanted the extra 8 hours of holiday pay, then you would have to submit our that using your floating holiday hours. If you did not work yesterday but still wanted the 8 hrs, you will have to get with your leader to submit the floating holiday hours pay for yesterday.
