Battery eliminator circuit - Antique Radio Forums
2009年9月14日 · I think that it really depends on what sort of battery sets you intend to use the battery eliminator for. On a late thirties to early fifties farm battery set it's fairly simple, it's basically "A" and "B", 1.4 volts and 90 volts DC respectively.
a b c battery eliminator subsitute - Antique Radio Forums
2017年12月25日 · Actually it is an "A" battery charger combined with a "B" battery eliminator. When switched OFF it charges the A battery. When switched ON it turns off the battery charger and sends A voltage to the output posts from the battery, which would be inside the unit in the empty space on the right side.
ABC battery eliminator kit K-101A - Antique Radio Forums
2019年11月7日 · I just finished the battery eliminator kit K101A from Antique Electronic Supply and it came on with no problems except the B voltages are off: 22V is 25.5, 45V is 48.5, 67V is 71.5, 90V is 94.6, ?V is 118, 135V is 141. My radio is a Philco 38-38. Will these voltage differences cause any problems? Thanks in advance!

2018年8月9日 · Still trying to get this battery eliminator to work first. I have replaced all the caps. The 5Y3 tube checks good on my tester. R1 reads about 3400 ohms instead of the 2500 ohms called for, but I doubt that is my problem. The "B" voltage reads too high, about 164 volts at the + and - jacks. This is with nothing hooked up to it.
K-101A Battery Eliminator problem - Antique Radio Forums
2018年6月1日 · Post subject: Re: K-101A Battery Eliminator problem If you add the zener diode voltage drops of 4 11-volt diodes you get 44 volts dropped after the 90 volt tap. 90 volts + 44 volts = 134 volts. The diodes limit the voltage due to the circuit design and the resistance of the load (which must draw more than approximately 50 ma).
Tube-type A-B-C battery eliminator schematics?
2012年3月20日 · Right now, my only battery eliminator is an AES solid-state unit. I'd like to try to build a tube-type A-B-C eliminator, though, partly for the fun of it, and partly to avoid the headaches that solid-state units can have (like requiring the radio to be connected to an actual earth ground rather than a mains ground).
