2023年7月7日 · A1407 is the 27-inch Apple Thunderbolt Display. It's expecting Thunderbolt input, on an old-style TB connector. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that – for this monitor – some of the controls that you usually find on a monitor can only be set using software on the attached computer, which could be a problem if that computer isn't a Mac.

I’ve replaced the USB C to Thunderbolt connector to an Apple connector have reviewed Apple support forums and tried all potential resolutions. 2023年9月29日 · think the majority of mac mini owners use non apple monitors otherwise it would not really be the "cheap" option to get a mac. my mac mini 2012 is connected by thunderbolt to dvi adapter to an old 17" samsung monitor from 2005 or something. and my my 27" asus monitor using a hdmi to dvi adapter . also used a 24" dell monitor

2020年8月20日 · External Dell monitor does to work when connected through Kensington USB 3.0 Docking station I need technical help. My MacBook Air does not detect the Dell external monitor when I connect it through the Kensington USB 3.0 Dock but works when I connect it to the Mac directly. Have already updated the latest Displaylink driver.

2023年1月13日 · If the 2013 27" Apple Monitor is an actual iMac computer and not just a stand alone display, then no. If it's a stand alone monitor then yes. You should be able to connect it the 24" iMac through one of the 24" iMac's Thunderbolt ports and and adapter to whatever connection the 27" monitor has.

I stopped using it because the screen on the monitor kept turning off, for a couple of seconds and then back on again. I tried different settings in resolution, refresh frequency, USB-C to HDMI, HDMI to HDMI and displayport adapters.

2022年6月16日 · I'd like to use the new Apple Display with both a 2017 iMacPro and new Mac Studio. It seems, unlike other monitors, Apple Display only has one input. Many other monitors have multiple inputs and a way to switch between them. So is it possible to use one new Apple Display and switch between two Macs without having to change the Thunderbolt cable?
