Jun 22, 2023 · Even if I set games resolution at 4K to avoid resizing issue, some games at launch starts at 720p before it changes to 4k and all my pages get messed up because of the scaling. My PC can't run some games smoothly at 4K too so I need to use 1080. And I don't want to set my desktop resolution to 1080, I like the crispness and the sharpness of the 4K.

Aug 19, 2023 · 1. TV displays have a limited resolution branch. Mine is 1080p and is from 2012 where my dedicated computer display can do 4k but also do resolutions less then 200 as well. Doing that on my display will not do well at at all. 2. Your computer GPU will only go as far as it can take you. Try setting the resolution on your labtop over the amount.

Jul 15, 2021 · Hi, I recently upgraded my monitor to 4K and noticed that Windows Scaling shows the value of 150% as Recommended. Leaving it at 100% is super crisp, clean, but small - the upgraded resolution is obvious. But I find that 150% almost looks like a 1080p resolution... and am curious if setting it to that defeats the purpose of having a 4K monitor.
