Spencer Cox’s senior advisor for housing strategy, sat alongside Ward and offered his support for HB 88.He said Utah continues to fall behind in its goals for creating more housing. He told the committee that just last year, Utah fell behind another 5,000 to 7,000 units, saying, “We don’t have enough places for people to live.”

3 天之前 · The Salt Lake City Council got a preview Tuesday of what the city’s new, consolidated mixed-use zoning code would look like, complete with tweaks in code that could allow for taller buildings and fewer approvals needed before construction.. The consolidation would take 26 mixed-use and commercial zones and turn it into six zones.
