I've tried to fix this problem twice but it doesn't go away. Every time I double click the whatsapp desktop shortcut, the cursor loads for a second, then nothing happens. Whatsapp does not launch. Right clicking and selecting run as administrator does not work either.

2024年11月16日 · Unable to install, uninstall, or start WhatsApp on Windows Desktop 10 The WhatsApp icon is greyed out in my start menu and has an exclamation point next to it. I was able to uninstall it and then install it (I first did an sfc/ scannow) and it worked for a few hours.

2021年3月8日 · No, everything else is fine and I don't have a wi-fi or network problem either, only a problem with whats app desktop. I've reinstalled the app multiple times. Up unto about a year ago the app worked perfectly but then video and picture files took forever to load to a point where if I have a file to download on whats app I use my phone to view it.

Trying to update it in the Microsoft Store didn't succeed, since I got there only "open" option, without the option to update the app.

Only if you log out or disconnect from the phone do I want it NOT to send notifications.
