This is usually done by unscrewing a knurled ring or nut, but some trvs (e.g. Danfoss, giacomini) have other fixing methods." I can't find any advice on how to unstick a danfoss valve, please can anyone help. The white mushroom shaped bit appears to be on spring.

A couple of my Danfoss radiator valves have stopped working and are not letting the warm water through. The British gas engineer who normally services our system said that there is a "Slug" that sticks in the valve preventing it from opening.

2023年8月23日 · A radiator valve can get stuck when the pin that starts the mechanism fails to move. To fix this, you need to remove the valve head to gain access to the pin. Apply enough pressure on it until it springs back to its original position.

Gently push in on the exposed radiator valve pin with the flat end of the Allen key. The pin should move in 2-3mm and bounce out again. If the radiator thermostat valve pin is stuck, gently alternate between tapping the valve’s side and moving the pin in and out until it frees. Check for leaks and reattach the thermostat.

2019年1月12日 · I have several radiators with danfoss RA2000 valves on them that are not heating up properly. I popped their thermostatic sensors off and confirmed that the pin is out and, can be pushed in. Last year I had this problem and replaced the thermostatic sensors and that seemed to help.

2006年1月5日 · can anyone advise on what to do with a danfoss thermostatic radiator valve that is stuck ? i have removed the temp setting knob, and the push pin which is not stuck. so i asume it is the actual valve sticking, can oyu give it a gentlre whallop to release it ? or do i have to drain the system and replace ? nay ideas would be greatefull.
