2013年11月29日 · I do not need either a 3g or 4 g connection. I do need WiFi and even more important a real GPS receiver built in. Which of the Samsung tablets have both WiFi and a real GPS receiver. I use the term real GPS receiver as some cheap tablets use only cell tower triangulation for location and that if far from accurate for a boat's navigation.

2015年5月4日 · Re: Use Galaxy Tab S (wifi only) as a gps I use Sygic for GPS on my Tab S 8.4 in my car. Sygic, available in the Play Store, uses Tom-Tom maps. Once you learn how to navigate with Sygic, it is pretty good. The graphics, speed warnings and camera warnings are great.

The U.S. maintains a fleet of GPS satellites and the Russians have a separate fleet called GLONASS, the S4 has previously been able to use satellites from both systems.

2021年1月29日 · Supposedly the s21 has GPS capability of L1 and L5 (much more precise GPS location). I do not want to do the trade in special (S7 to S21), if the S21 is not picking up both L1 and L5. With the trade in specials, you do not get you phone back, if you cancel out of the deal.

2020年8月3日 · I hope this will help - I just went through this with on a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, Android 9 because I want to connect to an external Bluetooth GPS. I followed TheSameFarmerBob directions to turn on developer mode. I installed a mock provider app: Bluetooth GPS. I used the Tab Active Bluetooth setting to connect to my external GPS.
