2024年7月11日 · I’m having the same issue. Roku connects to my TV and asks me to select a Wi-Fi connection and my Wi-Fi password. After receiving confirmation of a strong signal, Roku attempts a software update. The TV then says downloading, and then suddenly quits as if the Roku turns off and no longer works unless I reset the Roku stick.

2024年12月14日 · Remotes or subject could be software updates. We have a fairly new LG 4k TV which has a Roku HDMi streaming stick attached to it. Our LG TV remotes have been set up to control the Roku device. It worked great until today. Checked my TV settings which are all good. My guess is that Roku software update broke it. I can provide details if needed.

2024年6月22日 · I did a factory reset of the Roku and tried installation once again. I got the same results, stuck at "Software update failed." I unplugged my router, did a factory reset of the Roku, and powered my router on after 10 minutes. The situation is still the same - it connects to the Wifi and then hangs on Software update - "Software update failed."
