We lost our son Jackson, October 2023 due to preterm labor at 24 weeks 2 days. Never got any real reason why my body went into labor. He lived 2 days. 2016年1月19日 · Labor stalled and they put me back on bedrest until 38 weeks. Finally my water broke and out my son came healthy as can be. I was walking around for a month dilated to a 5(!) with no contractions before that. Now I'm on progesterone shots to prevent preterm labor for my third. So far so good.

2010年7月19日 · I would think that a reasonable doctor would try to stop preterm labor at any time before you were full term (37 weeks), unless premature delivery was a medical necessity (i.e. placenta is not nourishing the baby anymore, a placental abruption, preeclampsia, etc).

I have a ruptured bag (that was leaking fluid don't seem to be now) so we are trying to get him to 34weeks (Dr don't want to-go over 34 due to risk of infections).
