Your average copy paper is around 20lbs. One sheet of cardstock is too thin for playing cards, but two sheets of cover stock glued together is perfect.

I've used the same technique to reproduce all the cards for Oath using the folding technique. It's quite a glue heavy process, which is why I chose to use a regular glue stick, as the dry time is relatively slow and forgiving if mistakes do occur.
