So, you are really still at the point of determining if your nodule is part of the 60% that are benign (usually caused by inflammation or pneumonia, etc.). At this point a CT Scan only show the nodule, as well as any growth if it was a nodule previously discovered.

2018年11月21日 · So large that it almost blocked the bronchus of my right lung. I didn't feel any pain. Lung cancer is normally not painful unless it metastasizes to bone or the spine. So I'm not sure the nodules you have are causing your pain. Even with the doubling in size, the largest reported nodule is still pretty small. It is concerning but small.

2021年5月17日 · Lexie is right about a 6mm (about the size of a pencil eraser) nodule. It is small and at that size would be a hard target for a needle biopsy. Nodules happen for many reasons and here is my go to source of information about the various types and causes for lung nodules.

2021年4月5日 · One in the medial left anterior upper lobe (located in the middle of the left lung, upper lobe, anterior segment) is enlarged to 4 x 6 mm compared to last PET/CT. This is very small, about the size of the diameter of a pencil eraser. None of these nodules are displaying SUV uptake (not metabolically active). I hope this helps. Stay the course. Tom
