My gulf coast box turtle hatchling stays burrowed in the moss I used for substrate although the temperature stays around 80 to 85 degrees. What would be the reason for that. What size enclosure would be best for a turtle his size? He is about the size of a quarter.

2013年8月20日 · You would need to find out where this turtle came from or was obtained from your father-in-law, and immediately move it out of the enclosure with your other turtle. Never put a new turtle in with a present turtle as a new turtle should be isolated from other turtles for a period of at least 3 months (some keepers go six months).
