A list comprised of all the films and director's cuts of those films I've seen, and my opinions on which one(s) is better. However, if I've only seen one version of a movie (like Blade Runner or Night of the Creeps), I will not include it, since the purpose of this list is to compare the versions of the same movie that I've seen.

If you've seen the director's cut, which adds sooooo much, watching the theatrical version just doesn't cut it anymore.

Director's Cut: 3 hours & 45 minutes Theatrical Cut: 2 hours & 52 minutes Co-director Tom Tykwer stated in October 2012 that their first cut was 3 hours and 45 minutes. ---- "I don’t think we ended up even cutting a single scene.... it was just tightening the screws on it.

The 3-hour Director's Cut restores the following scenes not shown in the theatrical cut: The film's title card is now shown in the beginning and the new cut is broken down into six chapters via their own respective chapter cards.

The U.S Director's Cut and the European Director's cut differs some in dialog. Example: When Connor falls from the boat and end up on the sea floor, the U.S version dialog says: "I'm alive" European version says: "I'm alive...I can breath..." Shortly followed by; "I'll split you in half!"

The original theatrical version contains a brief moment that is absent from the director's cut. Just after Salieri is seen burning the crucifix, there is a cut back to old Salieri in which he finishes his monologue with "I will ruin your incarnation."
