2021年1月9日 · The S3 drives like a little go-kart. The S4 feels more mature & more so like a touring car. Having spent a year in each and finding myself alone in the car more often than not (especially these days), I’m pretty firm on going back to the S3 when the next gen lands in the states. While I love the S4, the S3 is better suited to my driving style.

2022年10月16日 · I bought a 2018 B9 S4 yesterday 10/15 with 73k miles. I’m a worrier, and I know that these cars have rocker arm failure. I’m hearing a ticking sound at about 1500 RPMs and climbs simultaneously with acceleration until about 3000 RPMs where the engine/exhaust/road noise drowns out the ticking.

Hey guys, So, I got myself a B8.5 S4 and I'm looking for an exhaust upgrade, since it sounds VERY raspy. All I can find are video's of people mounting X-pipes on their cars instead of an H-pipe, although an H-pipe sounds much deeper and less raspy, which is why I don't get the X-pipe hype all over the web.

2015年8月10日 · a. Use S4 for road trips, it does not have as much leg space as A6 but is not bad. b. rent a car for that road trip if it is like once a year. you can always go for an A6 down the road. People hardly go the other way. Enjoy S4 earlier when it is not mandatory to have a bigger car. That was my logic when I chose S4 over A6 a couple of months ago.

Damn, good for you! Nice job. My old B7 S4 had all this done, but thankfully by the previous owner at a performance shop. You saved yourself a ton in labor costs by DIY. The receipts I had of the work from the previous owner was about $5k just in labor and replacement of only the timing chain and components.
