I called my finance office and they’re telling me a case was never opened in the case management system. So what are the next steps I need to take? 2018年1月22日 · I had the same issue at IBOLC, the finance that works with the Students are terrible. I went around them, submitted my 1506, All enlistment documents, reenlistment and DD214 directly to DFAS. It took 30 days and I received all of my back pay on the next pay period. Also you said 9 years, so you reenlisted at some point.

2021年6月3日 · The 1506 (verified with source documents and pay system entries) is what DFAS uses to correct BASD/PEBD. Only then can S1 submit for date corrections. It's entirely possible that OP's local finance office lost the paperwork or didn't track once the CMS case was opened.

2023年11月5日 · Doing the 1506 takes about a week (give or take: the more broken or complicated the prior service, the more margin for error, the longer it takes). Signatures is a couple days (this is review of timeline and source docs). Sending the par another day or two. Then it gets sent to dfas and time stops. This could be anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks.

2022年9月26日 · Apparently there’s no Career Counselor on the post. I asked command if I could have a recruiter put a 1506 together for me and was told no, but I’m definitely thinking about doing it anyway and placing it in their hands to see if that can encourage them to submit it.
