Share and access a calendar with edit or delegate permissions in Outlook. Allow messages to be sent on your behalf when sharing a folder or mailbox. Allow another person or delegate to receive and respond to email messages and meeting requests and responses on your behalf.

Delegate Access provides the ability for others to create email messages or respond to meeting requests on your behalf. As the person granting permission, you determine the level of access that the delegate has to your folders. You can grant a delegate permission to read items in your folders or to read, create, change, and delete items.

When you assign edit permissions, the person you're sharing has the ability to view and make changes to your calendar. People you grant delegate access to, can also edit your calendar items, but in addition to that, they can also schedule and respond to meetings on your behalf.

Allow messages to be sent on your behalf when sharing a folder or mailbox. Delegate access is when you give someone permission to access your mailbox or specific folders in your mailbox with the added ability of being able to create and respond to messages on your behalf. Note: You can share folders without this level of permission.

Give a delegate access to your calendar, contacts, or email in Outlook.

Go to the accounts section of settings, then tap on the delegate mailbox account. Click on Delete Account to remove the shared mailbox from your mobile device. This will not impact any of the data in the owner's mailbox. By choosing Delete Account you will simply be removing access to the account from Outlook mobile.

You can set the level of access to each person you're sharing with by granting view-only, edit, or delegation privileges. There are two types of delegation privileges. You can choose to have people send on your behalf, or send as you.

When you administer an organization’s account on behalf of a client, you’re providing delegated administration. As a delegated administrator, you can perform tasks such as adding users, resetting passwords, and adding domains. Before you can start administering a client's account, the client must authorize you as a delegated administrator.

When you add a delegate, you’re essentially sharing your phone line with them, so they can see and share all of your calls. Go to Settings and more next to your profile picture at the top of Teams and choose Settings > Calls . Under Manage delegates, select Add a delegate.
