2024年8月12日 · Here's what I was thinking pea gravel 2" around post then pour 2 bags concrete. I did this on a few posts then noticed after a rain storm the water just pooling and sitting on the top of the concrete. I was originally just going to top the holes off with aggregate but now I don't know. The soil is clay here.

One side looks like regular concrete will small patches of exposed, the other looks like exposed aggregate should but feels bumpy not rough to walk on (uncomfortable).

2018年7月27日 · We had a new driveway and walkway poured 7 days ago. It is exposed aggregate that looked OK wet when first washed to expose the small rocks. As it dries/cures, however, the surface appears splotchy as if the washing was not consistent or complete. It looks as though the small rocks were exposed more in some sections and less in others.
