I bought a new 2004 Sprinter and have regretted it every day since. The idea of a big box powered by a small efficient diesel is great but the Sprinter is a mechanical nightmare.

Hi everyone I have an 04 Sprinter cargo van 140" :) that is a-typical behavior for a Sprinter... I have trudged around in pretty bad conditions including packed and loose and drifted snow, ice, sleet, re-frozen ice, etc. and the ESP/ASR/ASP/ei-ei-OH (alphabet soup) takes over and it just turns/runs/stops/starts straight and easy.

My 2004 Dodge Sprinter is at the dealership for the third time with the same problem. The Sprinter will die when I push the gas pedal a little too hard going up an incline or trying to pass someone. I will pull over to the side of the road, turn the ignition off, wait a few minutes, then restart and it will run fine for a few days.

Hi, I can not start my 2004 Dodge Sprinter 2500 2.7l Mercedes engine van early in the morning when the temperature is below 50F. Once I start it, I don't have a problem at all. If during the day I turn off the engine , it starts again without any problem.

My 2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500 / 2007 Winnebago View has suffered its 2nd turbo resonator failure with ~2,200 miles between the 1st and 2nd failures. The first failure was shortly after I bought the vehicle last summer. The resonator was replaced with the manufacturer's part Rev AB. That part failed last Saturday on the Interstate.
