White in extraction site, what is it?? - Dental Phobia Forum
2006年11月24日 · Ive googled 'white in extraction site'(!) and had some conflicting info: 'The white material is the blood clot; your rinsing has merely washed away the red blood cells and left the clotted fibrin material, which is white. This is normal, and is of no concern'. The second: 'White color in the extraction cavity...

2021年3月1日 · The blood clot does shrink as it heals over a period of time. It starts to "sink" down in the extraction site. While this is happening, you will start to see this whiteish, grayish stuff starting to form.. it is normal.. I saw this stuff forming about 36 - 48 hours after my extraction. Hope this helps!
Extraction Site Day 5 (With Picture) - Dental Phobia Forum
2015年2月18日 · Hi, i am also on day 7 post extraction of lower molar. My socket seems to be closing up and the pain is minimal now but there is still a green covering over the clot. I had my tooth checked again on day 3 because i was worried this was due to an infection as it was really smelly as well but the dentist didn't seem to think it was infected.
Bleeding 8 days after wisdom teeth extraction - Dental Phobia …
2018年10月29日 · The holes are normal. I was told after my molar extractions not to worry about bleeding unless it was enough to need gauze to stop the bleeding (after 3 days). I was also told that it was normal to have increased pain 7 to 10 days after extraction. I had an increase of pain with my bottom molar extraction a week after.
Wisdom Tooth Extraction resulting in dry socket?
2020年7月4日 · It was bleeding a lot. Soaking through wads of gauze in seconds. I was advised by 111 to go to A&E. Before I went, about 3 hours after the extraction, I found a blood clot in my mouth. Obviously I was immediately worried the blood clot had dislodged but then I kept bleeding large clots from the socket into my mouth.
I can't see my blood clot... - Dental Phobia Forum
2016年4月2日 · Bottom molars are far more likely to have dry socket and other issues (going through it myself!). I had a top wisdom tooth and bottom molar/wisdom tooth ("mutant tooth") removed a week ago. I can't see the top one very well, either, and I also could not see the clot. I had to have my husband look. My top one is absolutely fine and healing well!
Help! Bad smell coming from extraction site. Is this normal????
2017年9月10日 · It's been almost 72 hours, but not too long after the tooth was extracted and the clot had formed, along with the white stuff ontop of the clot (I've read thats normal) the site started to smell bad. I've brushed my teeth, being wary of the extraction site, and its not my other teeth or tongue. The smell is from the extraction site its self.
