2020年3月2日 · Up until about a month ago, I was seeing between 970Mbs and 1.0 Gb on the speed test. On WiFi (laptop) getting about 550 Mbs, probably due to back chanenl communication over the mesh system, etc. Very acceptable. About a month or two, ago, the speed test dropped to between 490Mbs and 510Mbs (on the wire) and has remained there.

2023年11月21日 · Xfinity test ran a bit higher. With the new modem, (white, 1 gig speed) I haven gotten over 350 mbps. The Xfinity test on the modem does read 1025 and sometimes higher but no device tests anywhere near that. I’ve lost speed in the upgrade. Both devices that get no signal are 2.4 gig. One is a 65” Roku tv, the other is a Ring doorbell.

2021年1月1日 · I am getting a max of 250 Mbps download speeds using various speed test websites. This is being tested on a windows desktop PC with an ethernet connection directly to the gateway. I have bypassed my switch and disabled my mesh network for this test. I also tested this with a laptop and a cat6 cable directly to the gateway. Same issue.

2018年10月9日 · 1) Directly connect to your modem via ethernet. Restart your modem everytime you plug in a new device. It's a good time to replace your Ethernet cables; Cat6 preferred. If your speeds are good, concentrate on router/networking issues. If the speeds are still poor, concentrate on modem/signal issues. Do not test speeds over WiFi.

2021年3月25日 · You should see towards 1.2Gbps with "1Gbps service", and more (~1.4Gbps?) for "1.2Gbps service", due to typical over-provisioning. On the router, check the actual negotiated speed for the interface going to the modem. Check the actual negotiated speed for the interface going to a switch or computer (if direct).

2024年12月28日 · Hi, I recently upgraded to the 1 gig plan from the 800, and I seem to top out at 750 down. Is this normal? My ASUS router can handle more than 1 gig. 

2024年2月23日 · It's hard to believe that a cable modem capable of a gig connection is only able to do 35Mbps upload. I really hate to spend 300 bucks on a new cable modem to gain an extra 100mb in upload speed. It seems silly that my current modem which is rated for 32x8 channel bonding but the modem show that the upload is provised for four channels.

2021年8月25日 · But the speed test results have not changed. To a large extent since posting the reply yesterday they are significantly worse. My 24 hour average right now is a mere 56 Mbps. I changed the connection only about 10 minutes ago so this worse performance is not a result of any changes I've made to the connections. It's been ongoing 9:00 pm last night.
