2023年8月30日 · I contacted Lenovo who expressed no interest in repairing it. I was certainly willing to pay too. From what I read Lenovo will not even repair the hinges for laptops that are still in warranty. Lenovo consider any hinge issues not their fault regardless. I have found a couple of local shops that may be able to repair it.

2020年9月9日 · Does the laptop have any other power management software installed e.g. Lenovo Power Manager? These power managers can conflict with Windows power management settings. The wi-fi staying on while the computer sleeps doesn't necessarily mean that the network adapter power consumption is always set to full on.

Never come across a BIOS setting but you should be able to remove the connector from the motherboard. It will have 2 wires and is probably labelled speaker - more usefully it will be linked to the speaker!
