Atlanta Braves outfielder and free agent acquisition Jurickson Profar will make his debut in a Braves uniform on Wednesday. Manager Brian Snitker has penciled him into the top of the lineup, and he’ll start in his usual left-field position.

Chris Sale made the start against the Twins Saturday and it seems that the bask spasms that he struggled with at the end of last season are a distant memory. The leftie, who first joined the Braves following a trade from the Boston Red Sox in Dec. 2023, pitched two perfect innings to kick off Spring Training.

Entering his fourth spring training with the club, Elder will be looking to prove that he can still make an impact with the Braves as they look to replace the innings left by injured pitcher Spencer Strider to begin the 2025 season. While Elder is a prime candidate to take those innings, he is also fighting for his future in the Braves' plans.
