It comes amid growing concern over plans for billions of pounds worth of welfare cuts expected to be announced by the government next week,

The government is also expected to make it harder for people to qualify for the benefit in a move to cut billions of pounds from the welfare budget

It’s rumoured eligibility assessments will be tightened, making it tougher for claimants to receive support. ITV has reported that a freeze on PIP payments for next year is also on the cards, halting their inflationary increase as was customary in prior years.
