Immigration law experts say the “gold card” proposal is far more complicated and uncertain than President Donald Trump and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick made it sound when they announced it last week.

An influx of immigrants who pay $5 million for a visa could increase demand in the “ultrahigh end of the real-estate market,” said a National Association of Realtors economist.
