Students demonstrated at every public university in the state Friday in support of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in education, which both the Trump administration and Kentucky's Republican supermajority legislature have moved to dismantle.

NKU is just one of the 8 universities protesting against House Bill 4 and Senate Bill 164, which, just like President Trump's executive order, would eliminate DEI programs at public universities.

The "Kentucky Students for D.E.I." organized a protest at the University of Kentucky earlier today, drawing around 60 participants, including students and staff members.
