Donald Trump's Ukraine envoy Keith Kellogg on Monday met Italian Ambassador to Washington Mariangela Zappia and said he was happy to have conferred with her on efforts to restore stability and peace in Ukraine and the region.

U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, had a "thorough discussion" with Ukraine's ambassador to Washington in their first official meeting on Thursday, the ambassador said.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he would probably meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy next week to discuss Ukraine's war to repel Russian invaders. Trump did not make clear whether it would be a face-to-face meeting or a video conference.
