OpenAI has introduced GPT-4.5, its latest AI model, as part of a research preview. The model, available to ChatGPT Pro subscribers and API users, features improved knowledge and factual accuracy but does not surpass leading AI reasoning models in all benchmarks.

Internally called Orion, GPT-4.5 is OpenAI’s largest model to date, and it’s first available through the company’s $200 monthly ChatGPT subscription.
