Kia is launching a new EV4 sedan and hatchback with promising range figures for an affordable electric car. The vehicle was announced at Kia’s 2025 EV day event in Spain today, where the company also revealed an urban-focused EV2 small electric SUV concept and the PV5 electric passenger and cargo van.

Kia unveiled the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2 at the brand’s EV day in Tarragona, Spain on 27 March. The three new models define Kia’s latest phase of its electrification strategy. The Kia PV5 is the first vehicle from the brand’s new Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy.

Even though there isn’t a lot about the EV2’s powertrain, Kia did show off some creative packaging solutions for this small concept. This EV concept sports reverse-opening rear doors to help rear passengers more easily hop into the rear of the cabin.

Kia plans to build 140,000 EV4s annually, with 50,000 slated for the U.S. The EV4 is expected to start at €37,000 ($38,841) including VAT, but prices for the American market have yet to be announced. The sedan will go on sale in Korea in March while the Europe-exclusive hatchback will follow in the second half of the year.
