Formula 1's 2025 pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit continues on Thursday, as preparations for the season ramp up. The first day of testing saw Lewis Hamilton make his official debut in a Ferrari car, getting 70 laps under his belt in the SF-25 in the morning, before Charles Leclerc took over for the afternoon session.

Formula 1 teams will have three crucial days from February 26 to 28 to test and fine-tune their new cars before heading to Australia for the season opener on March 16.

Over the next three days, teams will better understand their new cars — and fans will get a sense of what the 2025 season has in store.

"Following the power outage during Bahrain Pre-Season Testing, the FIA, Formula 1, and the teams have agreed to extend this afternoon's session by one hour to compensate for the time lost under the red flag. The session will now conclude at 20:00 local time," a joint statement read.
