Lisandro Martinez will likely play no further part in the current campaign for Manchester United after a statement from his club confirmed that he has suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury.
Tests carried out on Monday allegedly confirmed that Martinez ruptured the cruciate ligament in his left knee. He will now have to undergo surgery and will likely be sidelined for around eight months.
