When President Donald Trump delivers his State of the Union address on Capitol Hill Tuesday night, he’ll see some workers in the audience who just lost their jobs because of him. Several Democratic lawmakers have said they plan to bring fired federal employees as their guests to the Capitol for Trump’s address.

Federal workers reportedly got another email Friday night asking them to document their weekly activities — though so far this time, there's been no explicit threat from Elon Musk they'll lose their jobs if they don't reply.

More than one million low-paid workers in the UK are to be entitled to 80% of their weekly salary as sick pay from the first day of illness, under government plans. At the moment, UK workers earning less than £123 a week are not entitled to any statutory sick pay.

People on less than £123 per week do not get sick pay under current rules, which are expected to be strengthened next year.
