Batman’s future on the big screen has been a hot topic lately. We know Robert Pattinson is returning for The Batman Part II, while we wait for DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran to name the new Dark Knight for the DC Universe. Gunn and Safran recently confirmed that Pattinson won’t be the DCU’s new Batman.

State Farm’s latest commercial, “Batman vs. Bateman,” delivers an action-packed, star-studded spot that redefines what it means to have insurance. The ad hilariously pits iconic superhero Batman against award-winning actor Jason Bateman to emphasize that not all coverage is created equal—just like Bateman isn’t Batman, insurance isn’t State Farm.

But the ad really ratcheted up the budget with other celebrities, including the stunning singer SZA as Catwoman, hugely famous influencer Jordan Howlett as Commissioner James Gordon, and actor Jason “Bate-Man” Bateman as a hapless, knock-off version of the Dark Knight.
