Two people were killed Sunday in a crash involving several vehicles on a stretch of Route 55 in Glassboro, the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management said in a social media post. The crash occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. on the northbound side of the highway at mile marker 47.8, just south of Exit 48/Ellis Street.

The Delaney family was driving to a park when their minivan got a flat tire on Route 55. The crash happened while the mother of five was waiting for help.
