A car overturned after crashing into a power pole Sunday morning, according to a social media post from the Miami Valley Fire District. The crash occurred at the intersection of Byers Road and Maue Road in Miami Township around 6:30 a.m.

Hundreds were without power in La Mesa Tuesday morning, including a hotel that was forced to evacuate after a car crashed into a pole outside the establishment. The car crashed into the power pole as well as a hydrant and a gas line outside the Best Western Plus La Mesa San Diego on Murray Road around 6:12 a.

At around 6:12 a.m. on Tuesday, the driver of a Camaro lost control of the car for as-yet unknown reasons and struck a fire hydrant and a telephone pole, severing both and sending a dramatic jet of water into the air in the 9500 block of Murray Drive.

Police evacuated a hotel in La Mesa Tuesday morning after a solo-vehicle crash led to a gas leak and power outage in the area.
