Arne Slot was handed a two-match touchline ban after his outburst at referee Michael Oliver in the Merseyside Derby, but Keith Hackett believes a bigger punishment could be on the way

Liverpool manager Arne Slot told referee Michael Oliver he would blame him if the club fail to win this season's Premier League. The Dutchman was shown a straight red card after he confronted Oliver and one of his assistant referees on the pitch following his side's 2-2 Merseyside derby draw with Everton last month.

Slot and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff were both shown red cards in the aftermath of the Reds’ 2-2 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.
