A suspect was behind bars Friday in connection with a weekend shooting that left a man dead in Lemon Grove. Andrew Cardona Gomez, 26, was arrested Thursday at a home in the 900 block of South Magnolia Avenue in El Cajon for allegedly gunning down Anthony Trujillo,

Anthony Trujillo, a Lemon Grove resident, was found lying in Kunkel Park shortly after 12:40 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound. The Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy and determined he had been shot in the neck, homicide Lt. Michael Krugh said in a statement.
