Revelations about the messages on Intelink, a secure system meant for collaboration and information-sharing among far-flung intelligence analysts, and Gabbard’s forceful response are the latest tempest to affect the sprawling American intelligence apparatus.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said that more than 100 employees from across the intelligence community had been fired for using a secure government chat normally used to share sensitive information to participate in sexually explicit conversations.

The National Intelligence director says it's a first step in her efforts to "clean house" and root out "rot and corruption" and "politicization."
