Publisher Square Enix has announced that its beloved JRPG anthology series has passed a major milestone as more than 200 million Final Fantasies have been sold over the last 37 years.

The total sales across the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series have topped 5 million copies worldwide, Square Enix has announced. Final Fantasy total franchise sales are now up to 200 million.

“SPLIT FICTION has sold 2 MILLION copies in 1 WEEK!! Holy crap, we’re blown away here! Simply amazing…” Hazelight said in a celebratory Instagram post featuring co-op protagonists Mio (Kaja Chan) and Zoe (Elise Bennett). “Thank you to all of our new and old fans – we love how excited you are for our game!”
