All-star cheerleading teams from across the nation returned to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center for the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) competition on Sunday, following an incident on Saturday that prompted a mass evacuation.

The DPD did say that many people suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the mass exodus from the convention center. Though there was no active shooter, the loud bang from the poles falling down was convincing enough for cheerleaders and their families to run for their lives – causing a dangerous stampede.
