BWI Marshall Airport lost power in its main terminal Monday morning related to a nearby fire, delaying some flights. A spokesperson for the Maryland Aviation Administration confirmed Monday morning that the airport was experiencing a power outage in areas of its main terminal and the airport’s hourly garage.

A downed wire caused a power outage and flight delays Monday morning at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. Officials at the airport said on X that the outage was “impacting areas of the main terminal” and the hourly parking garage. Crews were working to restore power.
