An extremely rare December tornado was seen seen touching down from a farm in Katy, Texas. A number of tornados were seen across the south, sparking local warnings and cancelling flights.

Scarcely a day after powerful storms whipped up tornadoes and hail across Southeast Texas, another wave of severe weather is expected to crop up in the southern and eastern portions of the state.
